I bought an iPhone 3Gs on eBay, to replace the one that got stolen a few months ago. The seller apparently has decided he can't be bothered to actually ship out the item I bought, and isn't responding to email. It's been since the 27th of June, so I guess now my next step is to pursue getting my money back via the eBay buyer protection program. Kinda sucks that I never use eBay, and the one time I do, it doesn't work out.
Yesterday morning the laptop (Mac book pro) decided it was unhappy - it would try to turn on for about a second, and they it would shut off. I took it to the Apple store and they've sent it in for repairs. It should come back in about 5 days.
The front door handle has also died. It had been finicky for a while (would only open if you turned it counterclockwise), but now it won't open from the inside at all. So I guess a trip to Home Despot is in order.
In good news, I've started attending the adult aikido classes. I've been to two classes so far, and I'm really enjoying it. The adult class is very different from the kids' class - the moves are the same, but slightly more complicated, and they put a lot more inertia into the system (also, they actually pin, which is a nice change)
The kids start swim lessons next week. Yay swimming! I think they'll do well..
