V for Vendetta
...is freakin' awesome. This is my new favorite movie. I saw it Friday night (at the IMAX in Denver) and then went again on Saturday afternoon. I have never done that before.
As Dan pointed out it's so much more than what you see in the previews - it's a powerful, moving political film moreso than an action flick. It makes me think "damn I wish americans weren't so fat, lazy and apathetic and maybe we could actually do something like this."
It's the first time in a long time that the events in a movie have made me cry (sometimes with joy) more than the personal emotions.
Go see it. At the IMAX if you can.
