Jobs, money and other fun things.
Well, ladies and gents it has finally happened. I have gotten a job! I so happy! :) I am going to work at the Home Depot. I get to work in the Garden section. So it will be really heavy lifting and hot or cold work, depending on what the outside is like. I am a little worried that I won't be able to do the work. I am not very strong and a bit lazy (but isn't everyone?), but I look at it this way. If I really hate the job then I can quit. I just need to give it a shot. That way I will know if I like it or not. Who knows, maybe I will like it so much that I might decide to become a landscaper or open my own nursery...okay so maybe not. The thing that I am most happy about is that I actually have a job. I needed one so badly so that I could save up money to go to school in the fall. Plus I needed to pay off my credit card bills. I have a bad habit of spending money when it comes to using the evil credit card.
Anywho, other than that my life has been pretty boring. I beat both Knights of the Old Republic and Fable in the same week. As you can tell I finally got an Xbox. ::does a happy dance:: I think that my dad is even happy that I got an Xbox. He has been having way too much fun playing Halo and Halo 2. Why I have no idea. I have played it and didn't find it too much fun. Of course, I don't really like first person shooter games, so I can't really say much.
I didn't do too much this weekend. I just hung out with the boys and had another game session. It was okay, I think because of the fact that we have been playing this game for over a year now, thing are beggining to get a little bit boring. It may just be because I am not a very good role player. I don't know.
On Sunday I went to my grandparent's house. We helped them fix little things around the house that needed to be fixed. So not much was done there. Over all I had a pretty good weekend. Things are looking up because of the fact that I got this job.
