Meaningful posts

Nov 02, 2005 13:20

Every time I post in this blog or the xanga one, I have hopes of posting something meaningful, something that will make other people feel even a smidge of what I feel when I write it. But I never do, I always lapse into some nonsensical dribble that doesn't mean anything. Most of it is my inability to talk openly about the stuff that really effects me on a personal basis, unless it makes me angry. And the rest is just my inability to express what I want to express in written language.

GOD, I'm bored with my pooh icon. I wish I had more icons to choose from, but I am dirt ass poor, and won't pay to upgrade my LJ account. I never use it that much anyway!

School has been...weird. O.o I have been having technical issues out the wazoo. First my classrooms weren't built by Monday, so I didn't start till Tuesday. And now none of my personal folders have been built, so I can't turn in my one assignment. It's just very frustrating. AND I have 4 days to fill my attendance quota! ARGH!

I'm afraid I sound like a snob in class though. I'm not the only one who uses proper punctuation and spelling in my posts to class, but I am in a rarity. And when I write stuff that I know is going to be graded, I tend to use more formal english. Especially since I am with, even cybernetically (Is that a word? If it ain't, it is now) people I don't know. Hopefully, no one will think I'm being a snot. ^^; But they probably do.

I really like the bo in weapon's class. Ann told me on Saturday that my NPT form was the best she'd seen out of everybody's, and that just...wow, that made me so happy, because it included Eric. Does it shame me that I am so proud of being able to do something better than Eric? HELL NO. The boy is nice, and he's a goob, but DAMN, I get tired of EVERYONE besting me at EVERYTHING. So when I am able to do something well, I am all about it. I was pretty good with the hojo too. I haven't done anything with it in forever, so I don't know if I still am, or even if I would remember everything, but I think I would.

And you know what else? I love making David feel stupid. That's so mean and petty of me, but every once in a while I am able to throw that boy, and it feels WONDERFUL. And because it does feel good, I recognize the fact that it is mean and petty, and I don't care. I can justify it by saying David is a jerk, and he can be a royal asshole, especially when he feels like it, but I don't need too. I like throwing him off his game, and what he doesn't realize is how fucking EASY it is.

I am smarter than him, and he doesn't realize it. I am smarter than a good percentage of the people I know, and they don't realize it, and I relish in that. When it comes to making them look stupid, it's so much easier.
