Oh how absolutely lovely! You have captured the two of them so marvelously. I love Elizabeth's complete lack of self-consciousness--very in character. And her description of Mr. Churchill is a hoot! so dreadfully dull, and he aspires to such wit Ha!

And James' memory of young Elizabeth is so economically and perfectly evocative. who’d made that long Atlantic crossing seem twice as long as it had any right to be *snerk*

Then she drops him with a glance. You portray them so beautifully that it seems heartbreaking to know they won't get together! Poor James.

Yeah, as Keira pointed out in an interview, Elizabeth doesn't really do the whole "seventeenth century girl" thing too well. Even though she can dance. Her behavior would have been considered shockingly forward, back in the day. No wonder poor James is confused.

This is such a perfect way for Norrington to embark upon his ill-fated fascination for the Governor's daughter!

"the impudent monkey he had constantly found himself plucking out of the rigging and returning, against her shrill protests, to her hapless gentleman father." I absolutely love this description of young Elizabeth. Just too too cool.
