Vivid, chilling, and brilliantly written. :) Very nice! I especially love the first one.

She's paying on credit now, but they've ceased to keep accounts.

They both take what they can. -- Oh, oh. Very poignant. Truth be told, I loved "Give nothing back" so much that I had to stop myself from quoting 90% of it. ;) It's gorgeous and so like them. If only they were less stubborn and wary of each other, I think they would settle their debts through sex and raw emotions. Brava!

Dawn, and the sky is full of blood. Gibbs stamps about muttering and rhyming, never a good sign.

"Cheer up, mate," Jack says. "A little rosy-fingered dawn never fazed Ulysses."

"Those fingers are a bit more than rosy, if you ask me, Cap'n. Looks like murder."

Elizabeth looks quickly away from Jack's glance and down at her own hands, stained crimson by that light; she wipes them on her coat. -- This is perfect. The exchange between Jack and Gibbs is very real, and Elizabeth's reaction paints a beautiful picture of her guilt, limned in crimson light and smeared with imaginary blood ( ... )

Thank you so much for the lovely long comment! I'm so glad you liked them.

The intimacy between the three of them is beautiful and oh-so-fragile.

Yes. A fragile accord against the dark. Glad that came through.

You have made me so very happy, my dear, both by doing the drabbles and that first one - WOW! nice smutty smut, oh yes. ::sigh:: That would be a very nice way for her to make it up to him, wouldn't it?

Guh...

Like the last one too, a lot, of course. F'ing Dawn and her bloody fingers. Homer says that so many times I think he must have a thing for her.

And sneaky, since it's not like she's not enjoying it. :-) Glad you liked!

Homer says that so many times I think he must have a thing for her.

I know! Practically every chapter! Talk about writerly tics.

All three are marvelous! And, hoping that puny fb is better than none, will just point out bits I loved:
She's paying on credit now, but they've ceased to keep accounts.

"Those fingers are a bit more than rosy, if you ask me, Cap'n. Looks like murder."
Elizabeth looks quickly away from Jack's glance and down at her own hands, stained crimson by that light;

OT3 with a side of monster - eeep! I love how they comfort each other in turn.

Lovely to see you inspired!

Well, I'm stuck on my longer WIPs, so I figured writing drabbles was better than writing nothing at all.

Thank you so much for the lovely (and not puny) feedback!

All are very good, and I really liked this: Gibbs stamps about muttering and rhyming, never a good sign. But the first one... gorgeous. Loved it.
