Random Ramblings...
It's been pretty quite lately. I've been working on two things:
1. my presentation for the Lithuanian conference
2. the thesis editing
Both are going quite well so far. In fact, the second may be almost finished, at least for now. I went through checking my bibliography today so that it reflects what actually is cited in the text now that I've almost done messing with it. Rather shockingly, I'm now under the word limit. Make that a lot under the word limit. Somehow I've managed to edit out about 20,000 words from the thesis as a whole. I can't quite decide whether that's good (I was over the word limit by quite a bit before) or just damn scary. I do know that several thousand of that is from removing references from the bibliography that I'm no longer citing though, so perhaps it's not as bad as it sounds.
Oh well *shrugs*. When I've finished I'll send it to my supervisors, and they're probably depress me again. But at least I know I have room to play if they do think anywhere needs expanding again.
