Ramblings...

I think I may actually have finished the case study chapter, at least for now. I have one or two bits and pieces I want to tidy up in other places, and then I think I can email folks and ask them to review the first draft of the entire thesis. Whoo! *collapses in shock* There were times when I didn't dare think I might reach that stage, but it looks like I might make it after all.

Yesterday evening, we all went out for dinner at the Marina near Hinckley. A pleasant time was had by all, I think. Dad enjoyed watching the narrowboats on the canal and the ducks, he's always liked ducks for some reason. The food was good too. Mum had baked brie to start, followed by fish pie. Dad had prawn cocktail, followed by a mixed grill. I had garlic mushrooms followed by beef stroganoff. Mum and I shared a chocolate fondue for dessert, which was fabulous. Dad had plain vanilla ice cream.

Today I've been messing around with mythos and catching up in a few places around Bardic Web. Pretty standard stuff for a Saturday really.

weekend, phd, bardic web, food, family, mythos, thesis
