The diamond jubilee celebrations continue. Yesterday, I did a run through of the boards, posted where appropriate, and then settled down to watch the flotilla of boats making their way down the Thames. I figure this is something that's not going to be attempted often in a lifetime; one thousand boats of assorted shapes and sizes all sailing away together with bells and orchestras and such. It was a shame about the rain, but it didn't seem to stop anything other than the fly-past. The crowd cover was too low for that. It was just this amusingly British spectacle; lots of pageantry and crowds in wellies and cags waving flags *lol*
This morning, we've been out on the garden. The pansies have been dumped and replaced with petunias. The lawn has been mowed. The rose has been fed. We've weeded. Three more raised beds have been built. The hedge is being trimmed as I type. So we've got a load of jobs done off the list. We figured we ought to make the most of the nice weather. Tomorrow is supposed to go back to being wet.
