Random Ramblings...
Today is due to be a relatively quiet day. Mum is working on her OU italian course. I need to cook some rice because we're having chicken fried rice this evening. It works better if the rice is cooked and then left to go cold before going into the wok. If you cook it and then put it into the wok straight away it goes sort of mushy.
Yesterday I blanched a whole load of veg. The freezer now has more bags of brussel sprouts in than we're ever going to need even with Christmas coming up *lol* It does save us a job though to do it in bulk. I also did carrots and broccoli. The curly kale in the garden looks ready too so we'll need to start including that in meals.
