Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to everyone. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
We have glorious sunshine here for once, which is both nice and not so nice. We have more of a breeze today, which helps, but yesterday felt quite muggy and I wouldn't say no to it raining a touch just to take the temperature down a degree or two at night. Not to mention it watering the garden; the plants are crying out for rain despite us watering regularly.
We spent most of yesterday out on the garden. Dad hacked lumps off the tops of the conifers and took the hedgetrimmer to assorted other shrubs and bushes. We took about twenty BIG bags of green waste down to the recycling centre. I planted out some runner beans and broad beans, some strawberries, a chilli pepper and a sweet pepper. I also dug up some bulbs so we could move them as they are in the way of some new raised beds we're building.
In the evening, we went out for dinner. It was only to the local Beefeater, but it made a pleasant change and did at least mean we didn't have to cook after being busy outside all day.
Today I'm enjoying taking things a little slower *lol* I do have one or two things I want to do online though.
