I decided that instead of a WRX, I'm going to get a Subaru Legacy. In blue. The 2.5GT Limited. When I'm a rich nurse, that will be my first gift to myself. An actual nice car!! Christopher can get the WRX. But I still need to learn how to drive standard! I'm okay at it, but I need much more practice before I try it on a nice new car.
I'm feeling pretty good about things today. I made Christopher run with me yesterday. He only did a half mile with me, which is all he should be doing at this point, but I'm so glad he came! After I got back from the rest of my run, we sparred in the back yard for about 20 minutes, and my arms are pretty sore from that. We're going again in about forty minutes. And I have to do some pushups and stuff after because without going to karate all the time, I don't work out the rest of my body much.
Kevbo and I were talking about having a joint graduation party, but I think it will cost too much because our family is so frickin huge. We figured we'd each have to blow about $200, because Dad's in no position to sponsor a party. And that's just too much. It's sad! I would have loved a few of my friends from school to come and meet Christopher and hang out. And I wanted to wear a pretty dress for graduation and again at my party... but I gues not now! :(
Once I get my letter from Curry and I'm certain I won't be going to school in September, I'll write a nice long goal list and my plans for 2010. But for now, I'm just... waiting.
Oh yeah! Tonight at 8:30 is Earth Hour! Everyone shut off everything that you don't absolutely need for an hour!! Christopher and I will be playing guitar and everybody everywhere should do it! :)
EDIT:
Well, I didn't get any of my stories into The Bridge, but I was a finalist! They said they received over a thousand submissions and less than five percent got in. It's pretty cool that I was a finalist!! I should be writing more. They accept submissions from alumni now, so I will definitely try again. (Ian, you should try too!)
EDIT #2
Oh my goodness. I wasn't ready for running two days in a row. My entire left leg is pretty much locked up right now. Owwwwwwwww!
