Levee-lovers will have to wait until 2010

Me neither! But suddenly I want to go! Free food? Why did we not partake of this in our university days?

New Year's Eve just eclipsed that actual day, I think, when I was younger- and "networking" sounded silly. I also think we didn't realize that these were open to the public, and more than just local politicians and VIPs gladhanding (although that is there too). Next year, I want to go and check out the people-watching.
