this morning brought a treat of breakfast in bed. tim and eleanor made me some toast and scrambled eggs and a strong cup of coffee. eleanor insisted we listen to some Simon & Garfunkle, so we put the cassette in tim's alarm clock/tape deck which is the one he had growing up. then we all curled up as a family in bed, reading our books, with our legs all curled around each other. ellie was laughing at calvin and hobbs... still not able to read all the big words. it was raining this morning, too, and the sound of the raindrops hitting the roof added to the cozy soundtrack.
