Four days mostly incommunicado. I do love these little breaks.
Actually, incommunicado is inaccurate. You simply had to be able to see me in person. In any case, I was out of town for my sister's college graduation. I am terribly proud of her. I never exactly doubted that she'd make it this far, but it wasn't always a sure thing, either.
We had a big party with the family on Saturday. It's funny how you get along so differently with your relatives as you get older. The favorite uncle drifts away, but an aunt you never talked to much suddenly becomes the coolest person in the world. I wonder how that happens. I guess they're just people like anyone else, with the exception of a couple of common ancestors.
Congratulations also to
_yggdrasil and anyone else I know (but am unfortunately unaware of) that graduated this weekend.
Work seems like it will be fine, and I may not have to break any heads after all. This is good, but also disappointing. I enjoy getting to break heads.
