advice, please!
my younger brother is entering the 6th grade this year,
and i'm trying to expose him to music he'd like that isn't shit.
if possible, music that won't totally ostracize him from his classmates.
so far, i've made him copies of london calling and the white stripes "white blood cells". i am thinking i should also make him copies of some aquabats records and maybe some other ska.
but i need some more recommendations. right now he's into 3 doors down and weird al (he's big into parody; we watched some flight of the conchords yesterday and he liked it). the trouble i'm having in thinking of other records is that my parents do not allow albums with parental advisories. so...there we are.
what do you all think?
