She encouraged forgetfulness of the historic as a way toward pure abstract art. The idea of the sublime as the effort to present the unpresentable. Even the giant aluminum exterior of the contemporary looks like the side of a big trailer. I feel enormous emptiness, as if I want to cry, and pity for whoever paid for it. It seems that an old rumor is being taken through some new paces.
