My skin looked horrific as I looked into the mirror. Bright fluorescent white light reflecting impurities.

I walked back to the table under the safer yellow light and lightly touched your back. Fears had escaped me.

Understanding the situation. Blushing at the possibilities. Laying in bed alone wanting to wrap my arm over your warmth and to kiss the center of your back. I kissed my pillow.

Together we ate starchy monochromatic junk food. I ordered a big plate, but could only bring myself to eat just a few bites. I ate my leftovers in various installments.

When I saw you earlier I panicked. I glanced at you, my heart nearly exploded and I walked outside. I sat down and nervously spoke with my friends. I got up and walked back inside to use the ladies room even though I did not have to go.

You were the first person I saw when I went back outside. Hazel eyes gazing into my hazel eyes which shyly looked away.

We're moving backwards even though we've already been forward but sometimes things need to be rewound and put on slow motion.
