I saw this pop up in a writing group I'm in, on Facebook, and figured it would be a good filler prompt for a day that didn't have a claim.
And because predictability is totally a thing here.... I'm going for Wyatt/Adora. (And because LJ is being a rat-bastard bitch and won't let me choose the icons that are active, only one Tin Man icon is available and it's not the one I wanted to use for this post. GRRR)
Are you shocked?
+ Which one hogs the blanket
Adora totally hogs that blanket. Wyatt makes faces in the middle of the night; huffs & puffs a little; and then tugs it (and her) back. And post-series, he can't ever sleep with a blanket because it probably hurts like hell.
+ Which one cuts the other's hair
Adora cuts his hair. And she does it well. And honestly, that is probably some porn-level personal moment and I need to find a damn fan.. LOL
+ Which one makes coffee for the other every morning
Wyatt. 110%. But the coffee is for him. Adora is a tea drinker and she can't stand coffee, but she loves him so much that she deals with his coffee addiction. She'll also never tell him that his brew isn't strong enough for her liking. Earl Gray probably isn't even strong enough for her taste.. but it would be an improvement.
+ Which one picks up the pizza
I don't know that the Outer Zone has pizza? But I imagine that would be a thing Wyatt would pick up on the way home from work, for dinner. Adora probably would rather make it herself, but Jeb loves it and it's one less thing she has to do at night, so she's willing to let her boys have it.
+ Which one likes their music on full volume
Adora. Granted, the Zone doesn't exactly have the range of music that the Other Side does.. but Adora would totally be the one blaring Flogging Molly, Daughtry, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, The Monkees, etc etc. Driver picks the music, passengers shut the cakehole. They listen to what I want.
+ Which one complains about the crumbs on the bed
Wyatt Cain is a weird neatfreak like that. Calling it now. And he can never figure out where Adora is hiding the food in the bedroom.
+ Which one is ticklish
Adora pretends to be for the sake of outside eyes, but it's totally Wyatt Cain. And it embarrasses the hell out of him, which is why she knows not to press it, and covers for him.
+ Which one sings and which one plays the music
I want to not go with my first thought, but it's probably the right answer.. so Adora sings; Wyatt plays. But, this is coming from someone who has written quite the wordcount of an AU where Wyatt Cain fronts a band AND has an actual singer as the face of Adora... I also know Neal can sing, because I've seen that IG post, so.. YES.
+ Which one proposes
That can go either way, depending on the situation. And, depending on that situation, the right one does in that moment. Either way, they only will ever propose to each other. Yes, I know how much Cain/DG I've written in the last 15 years. Leave me alone!
Long story short: 15 years later, I still love my perfect pair of Ozians. ♥
