as the tag says. If you weren't here for the original story, a quick recap: My brother was explaining to someone what is job at Disney entails (at the time, he was only a coordinator, I think..) and his best friend, Nate, interrupted and said he was "just a lifeguard".
It became a running thing.
Anyway, I picked my brother up from work, today (vehicle drama for another post) and got a full breakdown of his cluster of a day. I was NOT expecting the tale to sidetrack into a very long tale of a half hour of my brother working with three others to hold a woman's jaw open to keep her breathing, in a hotel hallway.
Long story short: the woman is at the hospital; awake; and stable.
He's concerned that someone's going to try and make a thing out of it, at work -- he's firmly of the mindset that it's his job and it doesn't need to be celebrated -- and I get it. He didn't get into lifeguarding for glory.
He loves his job, plain and simple.
So.. in an effort to not make a thing out of it, I'm simply going to say that no matter how much he annoys the snot out of me; and makes questionable decisions on a semi-regular basis:
I'm proud of my brother.
