OMG Y'all.....
It's been.... dramatic around here.
+ two weeks to get the roof at work repaired (FINALLY!!!) ; which meant a week of tar and dust falling at every moment, not to mention the NOISE. A second week to the get AC back.
Yes, I know I have always poo-pooed the work AC, but it was BAD. That said, two weeks with no AC, when the temps in central Florida are nearing the high 90s.... the last two weeks of work have been HARD. So tired, all the time; drinking enough water for fill a swimming pool (almost)...
SO MANY SHOWERS.
The AC is finally back, as of yesterday afternoon. the problem vent is still a problem, but the temperature inside the office is almost comfortable. Will I still be having a sweater or jacket on my.. probably. But it's really nice to not prepare for the Taco Bell freezer.
+ I am slightly addicted to PowerWash Simulator on Steam.

gatechic's hubby bought me a copy of Valheim (also on Steam) and I got to log in, last weekend, and give it a shot. There's definitely a learning curve in the navigation -- WHYTF DOES LEFT STRAFE LEFT AND NOT TURN???? (same question, PowerWash Simulator) -- but just hearing their voices made me tear up something fierce. We hadn't seen them in quite a while BEFORE everything shut down.. and thanks to life in general, we'd kind of lost touch.
It was a good day. Even if I got killed by the gremlins.
Will be getting back in, one of these days, to practice some more. Hopefully maybe.
+ Felicia Day was talking about a water bottle on a stream (which I missed) and one of the folks in her Discord provided a link to it. The bottle is Bluetooth-enabled, and will light up when you haven't taken a drink in a while. I haven't decided if I'm going to spend the money on the bottle, but I did get the app and have been manually tracking my water for about two weeks. I have been trying to be ~honest~ about it, and only tracking water, Gatorade, and some iced tea. (ie the pepsi I had the other day didn't get recorded)
I am currently at 45% of drinking enough water to fill a fish tank.
+ had an echocardiogram, this morning. It was weird. Well, it wasn't weird, but the HOT goo was weird AF. My dad had one last week -- he had some medical issues over the last month and has since been diagnosed with AFib, and but back on his original blood clot meds. Anyway.. the tech said he saw nothing that was cause for a trip to the ER, but past that he couldn't tell me anything. Told him that was perfectly understandable, since he's just a tech, etc.
Won't go back until end of June for the treadmill and maybe monitor... I just want the hamster in my chest to stop cosplaying the Flash at random intervals.
Also still waiting on the referral for the migraines. they keep insisting I have to go to Epilepsy, which I think is not the right call... but maybe they share offices? Unknown.
+ Everything in the "news" these days just pisses me off. I don't care about Kardashians, Survivor, or Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck maybe back together. None of these things are NEWS. Granted, half of the news is BS, as well.
+ I am so sick of hearing about Matt Gaetz. Yes, I'm closer to it because Florida.. but SWEET EFFIN LORD: He's guilty as hell and no one cares. NO ONE.
Okay.. now that my BP is probably racing-but-not-showing....
Tonight I get to find out if I have to report to Federal jury duty Tuesday morning. Yay. Here's to not being expected Tuesday (Tuesday is already kind of a packed day), and it being any other damn day of the month that also isn't one of the two doctors appointments.
Until then.. I'm going to go make my lunch (butter chicken TV dinner. Be jealous) and watch a twitch stream and see if I can win some quilting gear with my raffle tickets.
Might even do some work, since I'm at work. LOL
