Genres are hard...
As I continue to spam the hell out of someone's f-list.. I am finding a lot of conflicting information between Amazon, Wikipedia, and the actual track listings printing within the CD cases. LOL
+ When it comes to release dates, I'm tending to defer to Wikipedia.
+ Track listings are wonky because of imports and such, so MEH.
However, genres are going to kill me!
I'm trying to stick with general, but some artists just don't fit ONE, y'know. A CD can jump from R&B to straight pop to an instrumental.. It's very confusing. Not to mention the fine lines between Pop, Rock, and Alternative.... BLARG.
I need to just hunt down a general 'approved' list of common genres and stick to it.
