Longest weekend EVER.

Number One: It's a little nippy in Florida, today.

Number Two (aka MOST.IMPORTANT.THING.): My perfect little fanfictional headspace-sharing Monkey turned 12 on Saturday. His mother (my fanfictional headspace-sharing Goldfish) is in denial. I'm kinda sorta in denial, as well. HE'LL ALWAYS BE FOUR TO ME. ♥♥

Number Three: DREYFUSS. He's short and a sweetheart and completely ignored me, but that's okay. We were there for bizarra. ♥

Glenn Hetrick was also a sweetheart, for as little as I spoke to him. Just gave him a wave and smile, mostly.. Same happened for John Cusack, as a gal was turned around and overwhelmed and I offered to walk her over to him (she might have been slightly differently-abled?) and she didn't even look at him. He actually leaned forward over the table to hear her, and gave me a smile, as well.

As far as a convention goes.. it was exciting, but I was massively unprepared. Completely chickened out, standing in Faruzia Balk's line. But I saw her and she was lovely and I am now hopefully prepared for another event. One day... Maybe.

Last night, the Lifeguard & I hit up our 12th (his 13th, because he went without me, one year. Ass.) year of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. It's the final run for Bill & Ted, which is heartbreaking, as it's -THE- reason to go to HHN. Alas.. The Shining house was pretty impressive; and we had already decided to skip the Saw and American Horror Story houses. Only one we didn't get into was the one that actually sounded interesting.. Having been COMPLETELY unimpressed with the one, we should have just stood in the longer line. But, hindsight and all that.

One of the original houses, though.. HOMG that riverboat. *swoon* The jist of the story is a riverboat that ran aground and is half sinking in the bayou - voodooers have taken over the place, so it's dark and candly and the makeup on the ladies made them far more beautiful than scary Too much FaceOff, me. But, Good God, coming around the corner and seeing this decrepit old riverboat.. I wish like hell photos were allowed, because there are no words. Which reminds me, I need to go tag HHN and Universal on Facebook and tell the designers so.

Of course, hampering ALL of this is the fact that my laundry tried to kill me. I was pulling socks out of the laundry basket, Saturday morning, and something popped behind my shoulder blade. So I've had excruciating pain for the last two days. Go figure that standing for most of both days brought the only real relief. *headshake*

In other news.. I bought myself the BEST WKRP in Cincinnati poster (Facebook link because I'm lazy) - (from a sweetheart of an artist); Biz got me ~*THE*~ Cap Pop I've been drooling over for the better part of a year (also Facebook link because I'm lazy)

In other-other news... I started uploading stuff to the new server-space that Biz set us up with. Will take some work to get a 'gallery' set up, for easy access to all her gifs, but at least we won't have to deal with the continuing failings of Photobucket.

PS: The Headless Horseman is terrifying. In any form. Even if he's just Ray Park flailing around.
