HAPPY 2017 F-LIST!!
I hope 2017 is off to a great start for everyone, especially following the absolute tanking of December 2016! o.O
bizarra and I finally saw Rogue One, and it was amazing and funny and heartbreaking and OMFG ALL THE CGI!PETER CUSHING *fangirls Moff Tarkin since first viewing of A New Hope* though, really, they could have just let Wayne do it and none would be the wiser.. /Farscape And while watching the credits roll, we got the news about Debbie Reynolds.
...... Yeah.
I've set myself the most realistic New Year's resolution I could think of -- to do ONE fandomy thing a day, regardless of how GrrArgh work makes me. Even if it's as simple as making one Singin' in the Rain icon, for my historamedy365 claim.
Speaking of fandomy-things related to December's tanking... I used a gift card I got for Christmas to over-splurge on a shiny thing:
I wanted to get the R2-D2 watch, but there were no distinctions of hours (and reading an analog clock is hard enough for my brain when it has lines); and the Darth Vader watch was black on black.. and as much as I'd have wanted to go for the Leia watch, in Carrie's honor, it was waaaay out of my price range.
PS: It is totally gatechic-approved. ;)
