Prude Alarm!
Dude...
I watched Sense8 this weekend, mostly because of August Rush over at 1-million-words, but also because the younger version of one character is played by the kid who I'm using for an RP face, so I wanted to see some more of him.
And he is just as adorable in wee-form, for as dark as his scenes were.
BUT....
DEAR AND FLUFFY LORD THE NUDITY. o.O I never needed to see that much of anyone, let alone Martha Jones (and on her intro, even!)! Don't get me wrong - Freema's character is fantastic. I just didn't know what I was getting into on that front, with this show. o.O
Took a good half the episodes for me to finally get what was going on, and I have to say the writing is pretty fantastic. I was rather emotionally-involved for a lot of the action scenes, and totally bawling at the end, on the mountaintop.
Also, the editing, having them all jumping into each other's spaces rapid-fire and all that... that car escape in SanFran was AMAZING.
So.. y'know, if you've got Netflix and looking for some action and some drama and a lot of sex......
But, yeah.. my Prude Alarm is still ringing. LOL
