which I normally wouldn't do.. but Steve got inspired by a recent challenge over at
lands_of_magic and here it is....
No, really.
I made CAINGERBREAD, people.
Let's face it - I'm lazy. Therefore.. this stuff...
HEAVEN SENT.
Anyway... the only downside is that the sheets aren't meant for the larger cookie cutters, so there were only four people per sheet. The rest, I sort of just mushed together, into new cookies.
The little ones are mostly gone, because it was the only bits I'd let my brother eat until the frosting was done.
He'll be on a sugar high, for work, tomorrow....
Now.. that all happened a few days ago, because weekend and stuff. This afternoon, I finally got down to the work-part. Figured I'd start with brown, since most of my palette is just that.
It did not go well...
However, after continual adding of food coloring and many plastic utensils later... *pictures are out of order here, for the sake of the flow of the tale...*
I give you Tin Man in gingerbread.... (and without faces, because that plan just didn't work.. as you can see where poor Raw's face should be.)
WHAT IT SHOULD BE:
WHAT IT IS:
and, because I didn't have any more willpower to get black and green for Az... I decided to do some for
gatechic, so I give you Garrett Cain, wearing nothing but his boots, his bandana, and an invisible smile. ♥
