I can't believe I'm actually going to say "Thank God Verizon added hotspots to everyone's plan, so I can be online."
Not having access to the Internet for a few hours is one thing (commuting, sleeping, etc). But to be home from work and having nothing for the WHOLE night?? o.O

The Lifeguard is going to take the modem up to the cable office tomorrow, and we'll trade it for a new one. If it works, AWESOME.
If not, we have an appointment for the cable guy to come here and check the signal. However, since the TV is working, just fine, my money is on the modem.
Speaking of The Lifeguard... he made a deal with his FL-BFF to give up beer and fast food for 30 days (he's channeling his inner Chris Pratt). Today was Day One and he promptly failed, by going out for beers with his boss, after work. So, he's assured me he's starting tomorrow -- and not mentioning his slip to the BFF -- and it has been shaken on.

Whatever. We shook on it.
If he fails -- no booze for 30 days because I'm not holding him to the fast food -- he is going to figure out how to pay for the both of us to go to Vegas, next year, for the RCPM concert.
I wish him luck, but I'm not holding my breath.
Ding-a-ling #1 came back from his vacation, today. The office has actually been a fairly pleasant place, this month.. It was fun while it lasted, save the panic attacks and OMGWTF following co-worker's flounce.
I need to remember to send her an e-card, Friday; she's having some procedure involving the heart monitor. At this point, I can't imagine she has any interest in talking to me ever again, but I am going to send it anyway.
Tomorrow is my mom's BERFDAY. But, she has to work; I have to work.. we all have to work. So she may come down here on Saturday, and The Lifeguard and I will take her to lunch.
So many things to do, not enough time to do it. I have to wonder, too... how much of my data is the hotspot going to suck up?
Apparently, I may have a bone spur in my foot. It hurts like hell when I put weight on my heel, but I can't figure out how I got it. I came home on Monday, just fine, and sat down for a few hours. Got up to go to bed and saw stars. /falling apart
As for the to Do list.. I've decided to just use THIS POST as the general catch all.. and keep it updated as I go. I should probably add all the other stuff, too. But, mostly, unless it's a voting thing, you can follow 12to32 to see the output. Mostly.
In other news: WHERE ARE YOU STEW-BEEF AND COLE-BERT??? Why is Comedy Central not showing them at all???? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
