In honor of the Craigster:
Go to your nearest Sonic/7-11/Planet Smoothie/Orange Julius or wherever you go for your smoothie/slushie/Slurpee fix
If you drink one, he'll drink 40.
You feel the need to do a sit-up, he'll do 40.
You want to hit on your cousin... well, he'll probably throw up.
Again
So much for my grand New Year's resolution to post more.... o.O
Anyway.. I've just spammed the hell out of a portion of my f-list, and I really should spam
12to32 with landcomm entries and stuff... It's not like I have anything else to do at work. *grumble*
OMG, gang... I placed WAY too many times over at the last round of
farscape_20in20. SIRIUSLY.
In other news:
+ Dad got a job - FINALLY - with the school district. He should be starting Monday! *flail*
+ Apparently, the lifeguard ended up having to actually lifeguard the other day. The mind, it is boggled! LOL
+ Grandma fell a few times and had to be admitted to the hospital, but she's fine. Turns out she was dehydrated and had a urinary tract infection. Oy, the drama of my family...
+ the cam shaft sensor *insert SG-1 jokes here* is going out in the car. I get to go up to the parents' this weekend so Dad can fix it. On the up side, I can finally unpack some of the boxes I originally packed.
I'm TOTALLY stealing his MacGyver box set. Whole series, yo! Plus the two movies. Also, I will be testing his copy of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, to see if I simply have a bad disc or not. if so, I'll be buying a second copy of the DVDs. Or just trade out the one disc. It's not like Dad is watching the DVDs, after all...
+ Setting up a new challenge for
tm_challenge. There won't be voting, and it'll be multi-whatever (fic/icons/graphics). Hopefully, it'll work out. *crosses fingers*
+ Today's shirt at
TeeFury - TOTALLY BOUGHT IT
+ *sends many snugs to Bad Horse*
What else... nothing's coming to mind. There is probably something... maybe.
OMG, gang.. I just got the worst news. Well, worst because I am an archivist at heart. It's my #&$)@ degree for God's sake! It's been decided that we are only to keep the last two printings of ALL maps. Which means that all the archival copies of maps (some go back to 1994!) are to be thrown in the dumpster.
And I get to do it.
o.O
It's bad enough that we don't recycle paper. But, now.. the last six years of my blood, sweat and tears - seriously, the map library has been MY baby - are about to get thrown out.
I may cry.
On the up side... I have something to do? o.O
