So, I'm back from bowling...

Jan 30, 2010 17:23

Managed to get a 155, and that's after not bowling for just two weeks shy of a year! I also went a did a stupid thing and signed up for the 'apartment' league that they're trying to set up - all the complexes are in on it, apparently.

So, every other Sunday at 4, I'll be in a bowling alley with no Pepsi products. o.O I can't remember the last time ( Read more... )

Dollhouse was interesting. I think they skipped over some of the critical stuff to really sell the beginning of the ep (thanks for giving us NOTHING about the missing decade, Joss), but the way some of the characters acted toward the end was cool. I spent about 5 minutes on fox.com figuring out why there wasn't a bridge episode between the last one and the 2020 one.

Not as far as I can tell. They used the teaser as the "What happened between 2010 and 2020" and only very very very sketchily explained anything. I think one of the main rules that was broken was the whole introduction of new characters without any kind of background for those characters (including why Echo chose that particular kid other than the fact that she's a Breslin). It would have been nice to understand the evolution of some of the characters, like Alpha and Victor/Tony, as well. *sigh*

I thought she might be - but I wasn't paying attention to the cast list.

Who was the other Dushku?

Que? If you mean what the whole thing was, as I understood it, Echo decided to create a copy of herself just in case, and for some unexplained reason, she was then downloaded into the kid. How the kid had active architecture, I don't know (if she was a doll, that's really creepy (pedophilia?), because as far as I understand, the chair only works on actives, the other pulse thingy works on everyone, however... fuck it, I'm lost. Joss really screwed the ending of this one up, IMHO). Only LOST itself is more confusing. Grr.

There was another Dushku in the cast list.

OH! I have NO earthly idea. I was too busy paying attention to the very confusing opening (that I had to watch three times to make sure I got what minimal amounts of info there were).

According to IMDb, he's Eliza's older brother, and played "Nate." At this point, my brain is so fried by the last ep, I have NO idea who the character is, except one of the character pictures rings a bell.

I'm guessing he was one of Victor's crew, possibly...

I had the feeling that we were supposed to have seen -something- before, but then I remembered that we ARE talking about Joss...

...which means the filler spot will be a comic book or something.

I just want to know what was up with zombie!Claire ;)

And, this one at IMDb says:

Clive (Eliza's brother, Nate Dushku) ushers in a group of chained men -- potential new bodies for Mr. Harding.

AAAHHHH. I *knew* I recognized the photo. I want to know what was up with a ton of stuff from that final ep. Maybe the cast will do a Sing-a-Long or something to explain. That'd be fun.

If you go to the main IMDb page - about halfway down, there's a recap - might help some of the questions
