Yesterday was so long, it ended today.
Really.
J drove up to work in the midst of the Hell!weather yesterday, and we left my car at work, then drove up to Jacksonville for the RCPM show.
Since the doors were at 9, we figured Boots would go on at 10, and the boys at 11. So we went over to JaxLanding and had dinner at Hooters. Got to Jackrabbits at 9:30, literally just as Boots was going off-stage.
Who goes on AT 9? Besides Bootsie?! *sigh*
Anyway, the opening band was local, and not bad. Couldn't hear them for crap, but the music was good. Lead singer thought he was Stephen Tyler and, brilliant!koslorollo pointed out that even Stephen Tyler doesn't think he's Stephen Tyler.
Have I mentioned lately that I love that girl? Because I DO. Baby, I do. I do love rock 'n'roll
Anyway, drunk!bitch was annoying everyone and drama... blah blah blah
Anyway, hung out long enough to talk to JD -I should get onto Twitter and see what he said- then we peaced out. The drive between Jacksonville and work was HELL, and work to home was just fine.
Go figure.
Mom yelled this morning that we didn't call to tell her we got home, but I didn't think she'd appreciate a call at 4:30....
Anyway!
Spent the day shifting between the computer and bed, partly because I'm just lazy ;) and partly because I've got a killer headache. Watched Hannah Montana, Ace of Cakes - they made a Serenity cake!! - Lie to Me [I finally saw the SCC episode!] and Flashpoint. I love Wordy... *sigh*
Anyway, LOVE to the f-list that has been hit with the drama-llama -I'd bitch-slap him away if I could- and LOVE to the rest of the f-list, as well.
About an hour until we leave for RCPM, Part 2 - Tomorrow I may be not-dead! ;)
Also, I plotted a Cain/DG fluffy-fic. Probably will never write it.. but it's plotted!! Oddly, it has no real plot. *shrug*
