Hello, shiny new journal. Let's talk about One Piece!
This is the best chapter in *months.* Certainly the best since they hit Fishman Island.
The highlights!
- Gimon and Sarfunkel. Oh Oda.
- Creepy mud-guy is *creepy*. Seriously, I had to lean back from the computer screen.
- I am *so glad* to see Sanji back to normal. Spinning! Heart eyes! Threatening to kick someone's ass! He's so much better when he's making tea and *not* dying from a nosebleed.
- Also, I love how he has giant-sized teacups on hand.
- p. 14 Hachi: "The truth is, ever since we were kids, we longed to be part of the human world."

- Luffy drinking Nami's tea is the cutest thing. I need an icon of this like, yesterday.
- "On one hand, you had Queen Otohime, who wanted to endure the present and change the future. On the other hand, you had Fisher Tiger, who would throw away the future to save his suffering brethren from slavery. As for who is right, that is something that can't be decided... even by me."
And now let's talk about racism, oppression and violent vs. non-violent resistance!

One person in one_piece called this Martin Luther King jr. VS Malcom X. I don't think Malcom X shot anyone, though. Che VS Ghandi might a better analogy.
Also, planning out my spring knitting. I really want to make the Macaroon Purse. I'm trying to decide between Pippen yarn with Clover lining (outside: green, inside: brown with white, blue, pink and green flowers) , or Seabright with Sprouts (outside: blue, inside: pink with white vines).
I need to get my knitting and One Piece icons loaded onto this journal.
