Since we spent the whole day getting the house Impending-In-Law-Visit Clean, I figured I'd finally put together the whole-house-tour I've been meaning to do for the last, you know, year or so. Sadly, the light was going fast and the pictures aren't what I hoped they'd be - enjoy, regardless!
Off the living room is Austin's office. It's the least "finished" room in the house, probably because it's not mine and I can't just go in and get it done :) I wanted to share a couple of pictures of it anyway, though, because I love how it's coming together.
There's a desk chair, but it's this huge black monstrosity that needs replacing badly, so I decided it wasn't photo-worthy.
Pretend you've walked back into the living room, then through into the dining room, which we do call the dining room despite its obvious lack of dining facilities.
Off the dining room is the freshly-redecorated guest bedroom. We managed to pull it together without actually buying anything new, except for paint and a map of Atlanta, which is framed on the wall opposite the bed. I sort of couldn't believe how very much STUFF we had stashed all over this tiny, storage-space-less house.
The guest bathroom is also off the dining room.
Onwards to the kitchen, in which we actually dine.
My, that photo's wildly crooked, sorry.
Off the kitchen is our bedroom. Wait, what? Yes, off the kitchen is our bedroom. It was an addition (sometime in the 70s or 80s, as best we can guess), and not really all that well-planned (or -executed, for that matter).
I shared photos of our bedroom pretty recently, and I don't think much as changed, but for completeness' sake I'll include a couple here.
We've got a bathroom, too.
That's about it! Thanks for looking.
