My DVDs arrived. =)
I restrained myself for a good hour or so before breaking down and watching "Say Anything..." Halfway through it dawned on me to turn on the commentary (I'd already seen the movie). But I'd heard that the commentary actually started a good twenty minutes before they even start the movie. So I watched the movie til the very end (I'm talking credits, song credits, copyright.. all the way to the black screen) and I decided it'd be cool to hear the 20 minute commentary before the movie started. It was fascinating, btw. But once I got started, I sorta ended up watching the movie AGAIN right up to the part where I turned the commentary on the last time. Good Lord. I can't believe I did that. It was so addicting though! And it had such awesome special features. I think I'll hafta check out Cameron Crowe's other DVDs, if only for the commentary. (I'm a big fan of special features =P ) Til then, Gladiator, anyone?
Anyway, in the commentary Cameron Crowe commented that he was surprised that women told him that they now looked for guys like Lloyd Dobler. Duh. Who wouldn't want a guy like that?
movies,
