Perfect is such a conditional word. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, it is defined as "being without fault or defect." How are defects distinguished from simple differences? In my opinion, perfection is something that can never be attained because it does not exist. Nothing is meant to be perfect. The word is merely something we use to describe things we wouldn't have any other way. Take people, for example. Who is the perfect human being? The smartest? Prettiest? Strongest? Kindest? Or are they a combination of all desirable qualities? Well, let me just tell you that they will never be found. Each individual's eyes see something different in everyone they meet. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that it is not which we consider flaws that holds us back from perfection, but it is the variety of differences that build us up to our goal of imperfection. Someone, somewhere loves you for exactly who you are...
Imperfection
I love your imperfections I praise the mistakes you make Your flaws make me adore you even more I am falling for your clumsiness I can't stop thinking about your stuttering answer I melt inside when you nervously ask me if I love you Every time I see your scar I want to take away your pain When you cry I want to kiss your tears away I wish you would let me listen These are a part of you They belong to you They will be with you always And so will I I hate your cockiness Your manners make me sick Your messy hair drives me crazy I want to scream when you ignore me Your profanity gives me enough reason to slap you I can't stand the way you look at her I wouldn't have you any other way You make me happy And I can't forgive you for it You are perfect for me... Imperfections and all
