an interesting first friday back

Sooo, last night was my first friday back at SLU w/ all my girlies. It was interesting to say the least. You could also say it was fun, crazy, out of control, loud, freezing, filled w/ alcohol (shocking I know), and at times, a bit painful. If you really want to know the series of events, or if you have absolutely nothing better to, here's most of the details I was able to recall.

It all began when I got back from Chemistry, which ends around 1. So we all went into Jess's room and began our night. It was approximately 1:30.

We sat and watched movies and drank and then we went to Wack's for dinner about 4:30. After eating to our heart's content, we came back, hung out, and started getting ready.

"Pre-gaming" (if I'm allowed to call it that here because we already were drinking for a good 4 hours) began about 7:30 and lasted til about 8:30. Yeah, I had a couple shots of vodka and I was ready to go. So, we bagan our journey to the bus in the freezing cold, and all 7 or 8 or whatever of us made it there in one peice. On the bus, Jess managed to get about 4 braclets so we were all set.

A couple pitchers of beer and  many new friends later, we were having a grand old time. However, we had a man down. Unfortunately she was minutes away from passing out, so it was time for some of our crew to leave. It was a little after 11. It was about then that Aimee and myself decided that we wanted some free drinks. We found a nice young man that bought us rum and cokes, which was pretty much a glass of rum w/ a little splash of coke. I don't exactly remember how many of those I had. Oh well.

So it was back to some more dancing where I unfortunately couldn't stay standing. My ass is very sore right now, and I guess I owe it to falling on it so many times. I thought it was funny at the time, so it's all good. And there was a guest that made an appearance and sang a bit. Yeah, ya know, Murphy Lee stopped by. But I guess some of my friends decided it was time for me to go home. After Lindsay frantically looked for my coat, she decided that if we didn't go then we'd miss our bus back. So I went outside in the minus something degree weather in my tank top, and funny enough, I don't remember being cold. So Lindsay being the coolest girl ever gave me her coat.

And so the walk back to the dorms began. I don't know if it was the heels, the wet icy slippery ground, or the alcohol, but I could not walk for the life of me. But, I could remember my SS # and how to say fuck. I am told this is what I kept repeating the whole way back.

And so I made it back to the dorm. Supposedly, everyone else was trashed also. This makes me feel a little better. Except that no one else fell into their closet. There was a team of 3-dubbers helping me change and I guess they let go of me a second too long cuz there I went, tumbling into my closet, head first. And I have the battle wounds to prove it. Yep, an extremely large, and very painful scrape/bruise on the back of my shoulder. And there was a guy sitting in our bathroom. Just chillin in a stall. I asked him what he was doing and he said 'waiting.' oh, right.

So the next morning after realizing that I no longer have my pea coat, id, room key, rest of my cash, and my brand new $7 lip gloss, the rest of the night magically came back to me. There are some things I left out on purpose, and others that I just can't remember. So, if you are interested in any other details please contact me. I'll be happy to share. For some reason, some things just aren't as funny in writing...
