Wow, life is good!
This weekend was nice, I had some time to myself for a change. My parents had Madi with them when they went to Southern Illinois for the weekend, so I had the apartment to myself. At first I wasn't sure what to do with myself. But I ended up throwing myself into several crochet and sewing projects and totally lost track of time. I did end up getting together with a few friends for a girls night on saturday. Sunday I slept in and then sewed for a while and took a nap and cooked and sewed some more. It was nice not to have interruptions, I could get lost in my project, work on it for hours and not feel bad about neglicting anything. My online class started Monday, and so far I feel optimistic about it. I'm staying ahead of the game as much as possible, as long as my computer cooperates that is. I'm picking up extra hours at work this week and next, they want me helping out in recieving which is good, means I'm learning something new and can fill in there if needed. Next week I can pretty much work whatever extra hours I want as long as I don't go over 40. This is a very good thing, I need the money. Madison needs a big girl bed and I owe school money. If it's not paid off by the time the semester ends, it will delay them sending transcripts to NIU. OK, I suppose I ought to go pick up my sweetie pie and take her home.
