life continues to harass me.

I'm a mess.
Matt has been harassing me for the past few weeks to go out with him, and I've persistently said no. We've still hung out a few times since, played pool at his house etc. But he doesn't seem to get that I don't want to date right now...and that hookups have never been my thing. I started getting texts from him today that were saying "I'm really tired of getting rejected by you" and "I get that you don't want to date me but come on, a hookup never hurt anyone." !!!!!! Have my words gone in one ear and out the other???? I tried to tell him that I don't do that, and all I was met with was "whatev". Seriously, I feel like I'm in middle school. I value his friendship and like hanging out with him, but I don't have the same romantic feelings for him that he seems to have for me. Errrr.
So pretty much i told him he needed to stop being an asshole and just go back to being my friend, We'll see what happens. sigh.
On a brighter note, I go to New Jersey with Lisa tomorrow! Franklin Lakes here I come...maybe I'll spot a Real Housewife. Probs not though.
On an even briiiiighter note. There is the cutest (sorry Eileen) boy (man) who works at Whole Children. His name is Joey and his age will not be mentioned. Otherwise Eileen might start finding more gray hairs. In addition to being ruggedly handsome, he lovessss Garnet. Loves. Today he struck up conversation with me about Garnet's progress in class that day, and I almost melted. Almost. He really seems to genuinly care about her and the other kids at Whole Children. He organized a dance for the kids next weekend...kind of like a Whole Children Fall Social. Too bad Garnet can't go...she'll be in Upstate New York visiting my dad's brother Peter. Ohhh well, there will be other socials, I'm sure. I pretty much gave Eileen a heart attack when I told her about him the other day (didn't I, dear cousin?). I know I should be on a vow of celibacy right now, but I can't promise anything. Sorry cousin.
