It's raining, it's pouring; far too much to think about.

Been married a month! Yay! Best feeling in the whole world stays and is slowly turning into a warm, amberish glow in my heart. Mushy, I know, but true.

Apparently today is the first day of summer in NZ. Let me tell you it does NOT feel like it at all. In no way, shape or form does windy, rainy and cold overcast days feel like summer. This type of weather does not make me want to go outside to run to the car let alone walk into town. Which really sucks, because that's how we get around, walking. Kiwi will drive only if we have to be there fast or it's really really yuck. And I don't drive anyways.

So when I have to trek across town for tutoring, it's NOW that I wish I had my license or that they came to me.

Speaking of tutoring, I'm working on my business card. What kind of things do I need to put on it? The services I offer (tutoring, editing, proofreading, and test prepration), who can use this service (anyone) and how much ($30 NZD an hour). My name and number and website. Anything else?

Getting that done has been banging about in my head since before the wedding. Another thing is my sister's wedding next year. I am to be matron of honor which is AWESOME. I love it. The trouble comes when Kiwi and I looked at tickets prices. For flying to the States around Fourth of July (wedding time) it'll cost us about $5000 NZD. And that's not much less in USD. ARGH. Can't afford that, so that means Kiwi is staying here, and I am hauling a one year old babeh through LAX and such by myself. If this is revenge for having my wedding during the semester, it's not fair. :(

Oh well. I just have to suck it up and get myself a leash and lots of time between flights.

Does anyone know where to find cheap airfare? I can't use Expedia and some of the other US based sites because I am flying out of NZ and they like the flights they sell to start in the States.

new zealand, english, marriage, babeh, argh!
