Inching toward an end
Inching my way through the climax of Plain Kate. I've been avoiding it for some reason ... yr typical fear-of-finishing procrastination, I guess. It's painful, though. I've done something like 100 words in three hours and am thinking of cutting the cat's hair again.
ETA: It's three in the morning, but I did it. Found the exact fit for the three pieces. Broke my poor Kate's heart. Killed the best character I ever created. Again. It is no easier the third time. But I think I may finally have it right.
