GUYS! GUYS! My PLAIN KATE is going to be one of just five books featured at Book Expo America's young-adult Editor's Buzz panel. My editor (the esteemable Arthur Levine) will talk about the book, and later I get to do a reading and a signing.
Never heard of the Buzz Panels? Me, neither. But here's how the BEA blog described them when making the announcement: "The Buzz Panels are BEA’s original and ultimate taste-making event. Insightful and passionate, this intimate editorial exchange will provide you with an editor’s perspective on the Fall’s biggest potential breakout releases."
I think this might be a really big deal. I'm so excited!
