Zombies vs. Ornithopters: the holiday edition.

Meanwhile, writing continues.

Or, James's writing continues. Mine doesn't; I'm been overwhelmed with Christmas and family stuff. This is not a complaint; I won't even mention the general male assumption that Christmas just happens. He can concentrate in these circumstances; I can't. But the kids are out this morning; the turkey was served last night; all the presents are opened -- so perhaps I can get back to work.

Team Zombie, alas: we have ground to make up! James's ICARUS DOWN continues to press ahead as his world takes shape. He's at 27,000 words. My SORROW'S KNOT is still at about 21,700. I fear the shoes may be lost forever.

But there is good news. I have written the climax to Act One, the one that was giving me a little nervous breakdown. And I've done some cleanup, and am declaring the act ready for readers.

Speaking of, does anyone want to read it?
