writing report of the day
Good stuff today. Figured out the ending of that short story. It's only the second short story I've written since college, but it was fun, and something I might try again. I could use some feedback; does anyone want to read the thing? It's urban fantasy with ghosts in it, and about 9,000 words.
I'm also working on some of my "translations" (not quite the right word) from the Latin. Is it possible to do "my mistress's sparrow" and not come out twee? A burning question for us all! Stay tuned for late-breaking updates.
It feels right to put Gilbert away for a little while. I was starting to force it. I was miserable and the story was suffering.
