Sitting at 'work', actually
I just think that you all should know that I've just been insulted on the basis of my Penrith heritage, from someone else who works here who happens to be from Brisbane! The nerve! It was something along the lines of:
'Where are you from?'
'Sydney.'
'Where in Sydney?'
'Penrith' (with proud smile!)
'Ha. You stay in all the classy places'
End of conversation. And I was previously being nice to this guy when he said he was Brisbane, taking pity on him because he's not from the centre of the universe.
In better news, I have found a place to live! Am moving to Wimbledon on Sunday, and will be living with some Western Australians. Allright!
