First Year English Teacher and Fish

May 29, 2006 16:09

School today was awesome! I finished teaching the first year students numbers and we had a great time. The students enjoyed playing telephone and they got a kick out of criss cross.

The first year English teacher is amazing. He is a younger teacher 31 years old (or ice creams old as the students say) and the students love him. He enjoys playing games and hanging out with the students between classes. I have seen him with a student in a head lock numerous times as the student is laughing and asking him some question or just teasing him. Have I mentioned that his English is amazing? Really…he is one of the best speakers I have heard.

Ok, now for a quick test...grab a sheet of paper and a pencil. Are you ready? Draw a fish. Honestly draw a fish. Now click on the little link and let me test my physic powers. (Yes this ties in with the first year teacher)...just do it! Draw a simple fish.

My powers are 99.9% certain that your fish is face is to the right with the tail to the left. The first year teacher asked me to draw a fish and then showed me that my fish was facing to the right while all of this students fish were facing to the left. I found that to be super amazing I want to see if this is a American/Japanese thing. The Japanese students had their fish facing left and when I think about it most of the fish I see drawn by Americans face to the right.

Ok, please leave a comment and tell me if my powers were correct. I am really interested to see if this is the case.

pondering, teachers
