The Bon Jovi Concert

Bon Jovi ROCKED! I went with one of my friends who I met on the train and our seats were awesome. We could see most everything. The band opened by playing “We Weren’t Born to Follow” and then followed that up with “Shot Through the Heart”. They played songs from every album and the sound quality was great. The surprise of the night was that they did a cover of “Hallelujah” and it sounded amazing. I loved that version of the song. Ricky also stepped up to the mike and rocked out.

The wonderful thing was that you could tell the band loved performing live and that they really enjoyed playing for a crowd. The concert did not focus on the stage show, there were no backup dancers, no fireworks, and no tricks…it was just the band and the music (in my mind the way a concert should be). John played to all sides of the stage and man does he strut when he walks around. The audience loved it. We sang along, danced in our seats, and I pretty sure the majority of the crowed went home with no voice.
