A Relaxing Day and A Bookstore

Today was a rather relaxing day. We took time to go down to Seattle and visit the Elliot Bay Book Company. It is an independent bookstore in Pioneer Square. I had never been there before but had read about in my Seattle guide book and Katie and I had walked past there on Friday. Talk about a book lovers paradise. I have never seen a bookstore like it. It is in an older building filled with staircases, a loft, and a ton of nooks and crannies. It is a place you just need to walk around to even start to understand how it is set up.

The store is divided into different sections (like a normal book store) but instead of being in an flat area where you can clearly see the labels of the sections you need to go up a staircase and around two corners to find the self help section or through a door way, followed by a right turn, two steps up, and then a sharp right to find the romance section. It was a blast and I cannot remember the last time I saw so many books. It is a must visit.

After the bookstore we went back to the apartment, watch some TV and relaxed. Katie needed to start packing up all of her things because she flies out tomorrow.

sightseeing, friends
