It is COLD
The long underwear came out today. I spent yesterday shivering in the teacher’s room and I decided that I was not going to do the same thing today! The heat was turned on at 4:00 yesterday afternoon and the teacher’s room was warming up just as I was leaving.
The temperature outside is 50 degrees with a bit of a breeze and some places in the school still have the windows open and NO HEAT! The teachers all walk around saying “Brr! It is cold!” I want to say, “Well then, turn on the HEAT!” Nevertheless, for some reason schools in Japan do not turn the heat on until it is necessary. I figure I will deal with it and just start wearing layers to work.
