Lunch???
Looks like I was supposed to bring a lunch today. Hmmm...this has never happened before. The other schools I taught at just order everyone a bento (a lunch box) but doesn’t look like it happened this time. Ok, now the teacher’s are talking about it and it sounds like I am going out with the third year teachers (or we are order bento). It looks like most of the teachers forgot to bring something so they are all huddled around the telephone with a bento menu trying to figure out what they should all order.
Man, did I drop the ball on this one. Everyone was busy yesterday so I didn’t ask about lunch today. Whoops, next time I will butt in and ask just to be safe. It is hard to figure out what is going on right now because I am hearing different things from different teachers and I have no idea what grade they teach. I hope that I will figure this out soon.
A plus side is that Kocho Sensei and Kyoto Sensei asked if I normally eat breakfast and when I told them that I didn’t they were shocked. Therefore, I now have a ton of rice snacks and a couple small bit size cakes sitting my desk. Kyoto Sensei just started dropping handfuls on my desk when he found out that I liked them. Therefore, even if this lunch thing doesn’t work out (but it will) I have snacks to eat for lunch.

One of the wonderful third year teachers remembered me and ordered me a bento. Yippee! Guess I will have lunch today after all.
