Let’s talk Grey’s Anatomy. I loved the episode (aside from one major part). It went back to the fun and sexiness of season one. I hope we are finally off of the disasters (ferry boat, Meredith) and back to the laughs!
So here are my thoughts. First I must state that George and Callie stole the show. The fight that they had intense! George was winning until he said the “Izzie is a supermodel and I am just George line.” I really felt for Callie there but she messed up and she messed up bad. She does blame George for a lot of their problems and she lied to him about having money. She uses his $200 to tip house keeping? That is just hitting below the belt. GRRR…I think they got married too fast but I wanted to see them work it out.
Meredith and her dad, that was a bit painful to watch but I have hopes that they can work it out. My eyes were covered when her dad started talking about the photo, I knew that was not going to end well and I was right. The swing on the porch was a sweet scene and it showed that Meredith’s dad was there for her (at least a little). I think the step mom is a sweetheart and that she really does care for Meredith and she wants Meredith to be a part of their lives.
Christina and Burke, I love those two together and I knew that the writers were going to throw a wrench in the plans. I almost died when the British doctor had his hands on Christina’s butt…too funny. I am upset with the way that Christina just blurted out her feelings on marriage to Burke. She really needs to learn how to talk about her feelings in a nice way. I think that Christina really does love Burke but she has problems expressing that.
I read an online review of the episode and I had to agree with it. I miss the George and Burke friendship. George needs a male to go to talk about his marriage and Burke would be the prefect one but their friendship story line seems to have fallen to the side lines with all of the drama that occurred behind the scenes.
IZZIE AND GEORGE??? IZZIE AND GEORGE, you have got to be kidding me. Is everyone going to be sleeping with everyone on the show? (Guess what part of the episode that I had a problem with). Izzie and George are best friends, Izzie finally woke up and realized that she needed to be there for her friend and five minutes later, and a bottle of alcohol later they were kissing and Izzie was waking up naked in bed. I get that sex sells but IZZIE AND GEORGE. Go back to Izzie and Alex or something, leave at least one friendship unmarred by sex. This is a train wreck waiting to happen and it is going to happen in a spectacular way. I feel bad for Callie, I think George’s marriage is over. I just hope that this doesn’t kill the friendship between George and Izzie.
