Hiromi’s mom is teaching Jana and I to cook some Japanese dishes. A couple of weeks ago we went over to Hiromi’s house to learn how to make pork cutlets (tonkatsu) and croquette, Here are some pictures from that day!

Today, Jana and I went back to Hiromi’s house to learn how to make sukiyaki (a meat dish) and miso soup. We had a wonderful time and there were a lot of laughs as we tried to make the dishes. Here are some pictures from that.
